Keyword Anchor Text – Good or Bad? — There is still a great deal of lingering fear in regards to overoptimized anchor text backlinks, and for good reason. Google Penguin struck down many websites that took advantage of anchor text as a ranking signal, and a few links with unnatural anchor texts can quickly land you on Google’s bad side.
