Halloween Costumes Related to Online Marketing

Halloween is almost here! Every year, it’s a struggle to determine what to dress up as. While we’ve never dressed up for Halloween in the Netvantage office, that doesn’t mean I haven’t come across some fun costume ideas that my coworkers would get a kick out of. Here are a few of the best Halloween costumes for online marketers:

Error 404

You still have a few days until Halloween and can get a fabulous 404 t-shirt with Amazon Prime in time for the holiday. Or if you have an extra t-shirt and Sharpie hanging around the house, you can easily make it yourself too!

A Google Algorithm

With Google’s coming out with more and more algorithms, you have a few animals to choose from to be a Google algorithm. Maybe you want to be a Penguin, or how about a Panda? I’d advise against being a Possum, but do as you wish. Being a Hummingbird is also an option!

Social Butterfly

Print out the logos of major social media platforms and paste them on your shirt and pants. Now add some butterfly wings and maybe antennas on your head. Voila, you’re a social butterfly.

Black or White Hat SEO

For the people who need a last minute Halloween costume, the black or white hat SEO costume is the way to go. Dress in all white or black and throw on a matching hat. Ta-Da, you’re ready to go trick-or-treating.

Google AdWords

This costume is a great way to make new friends! Wear a shirt with the Google AdWords Logo and have a whiteboard along with a marker. People will be coming up to you all night “adding words” to your board.
