In only a year, Netvantage Marketing has helped over 50 clients gain visibility on search engines, making their mark as a marketing technology company in the Lansing area.
EAST LANSING, MI—On May 12, 2009, Netvantage Marketing, located in East Lansing, MI, will be celebrating their one-year anniversary. This milestone marks an incredibly successful year of business for the online marketing company which specializes in pay per click management and search engine optimization.
Joe Ford and Adam Henige, Managing Partners of Netvantage Marketing, started the company in May of 2008 with no clients in the initial stages of a plummeting economy. “Within the current economic environment, more businesses are turning to the web to spend their precious marketing dollars. Search engine marketing provides a high level of accountability within their marketing spend and our clients are seeing a high return on investment,” said Henige. Over the past year, Netvantage has grown its active ongoing client list to 18, serving them with web analytics, SEO, and pay per click marketing services. Netvantage has also partnered with several ad agencies and web development firms across the Midwest on over 50 online marketing consulting projects.
Henige and Ford have also worked closely with Michigan State University to build a strong internship program. In today’s competitive job market, the pair agrees it is critical for students to participate in internships to differentiate themselves from their peers. Netvantage has already worked with eight interns, with three more scheduled for this coming summer. These interns are learning about the Internet marketing community and being taught valuable new media skills.
Netvantage has also made their mark on the community. Guest lecturing at Davenport College and local high schools, Netvantage frequently hosts informational sessions and presentations around the Greater Lansing area. They also participated in public search engine marketing education seminars, such as the Capital Area IT Council’s Google 101, and the Capital Area District Library. They are active members of the IT Council Capital Area and have joined the Lansing Regional Chamber, the South Lansing Business Association, the Meridian Area Business Association and the Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance.
The first quarter of 2009 yielded the company’s highest returns to date. Its success is evident in the tremendous growth, with clients gained in sectors such as financial services, higher education, automotive and real estate. Netvantage experienced this record growth by executing 13 new search engine optimization projects and adding ten recurring clients, ranging from Michigan State University School of Labor and Industrial Relations to Capital Steel and Wire. With this successful year under their belt, Netvantage Marketing looks forward to growing and adding new technology jobs to the Lansing area in 2009.
