March 11th, 2010 (EAST LANSING)¬ Netvantage Marketing Netvantage Marketing was surprised and pleased to receive the Emerging Entrepreneur Award at the 2010 Lansing Entreprenuerial Awards of Greater Lansing, which is an annual event presented by the Lansing Business Monthly.
The firm was recognized as a business that was started in a recessionary economy in 2008 with zero clients, and over two years has experienced tremendous growth. The search marketing consulting firm has worked on over 60 projects, and now has 20 clients on an active retainer basis. Clients have ranged from Greenstone Farm Credit Services, University of California Berkeley, Lansing Community College, and Strategic Products and Services. Netvantage has participated in several education sessions for the community, teaching small businesses on using search engine marketing to their advantage.
Additionally, Netvantage has an active internship program with Michigan State University, mentoring and training 12 interns on marketing and technology skills. Netvantage’s program has helped three former interns land jobs in the technology field in Michigan.
“Well, this comes as quite a shock, especially given the caliber of companies that were nominated in all of the categories this year,” said Managing Partner Joe Ford. “We are humbled, yet know as an emerging entrepreneur it means we have to sustain our success and continue to grow.”
Managing Partner Adam Henige echoed Ford’s comments “Like so many businesses, we started Netvantage on a napkin, with zero capital, and no clients. We have worked very hard to get to this point, we are very grateful to have won. This makes the 3 AM nights worth it.”
