Our staff excels in SEO, PPC and social media due to our strengths in analytics, writing, and research. Here's a bit more about some of our key players:
The Founders:
Adam Henige graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in film and video production. After graduation, he took a position with an agency in Rochester, New York where he managed the production of promotional campaigns for clients such as Kodak, Bausch & Lomb and M&T Bank. After gaining significant skills in developing promotional multimedia and project management,
Adam enrolled in the MBA program at Michigan State University where he graduated with a degree in Marketing in 2006. Upon completion of his MBA, Adam took a position with a private consulting firm as a Senior Internet Strategy Analyst.
In 2008, Adam was one half of the team that launched Netvantage. Now Adam leads the search engine optimization team, conducting site audits, building content strategies and managing link-building campaigns. In addition to his work at Netvantage, Adam sits on the Marketing and Communications Board for the Mid Michigan Red Cross.
Joe Ford graduated from Michigan State University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications with an emphasis in Information Technology Management. Upon graduation, Joe went to work for Michigan State University in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and later moved on to take a position as Assistant Director of MBA admissions at Michigan State University before beginning his career in consulting.
Prior to starting Netvantage, Joe worked as a Senior Internet Strategy Analyst, managing large scale Internet consulting and web development projects for several Fortune 500 companies.
In 2008, Joe started Netvantage with business partner Adam Henige. Ford has helped Netvantage grow to a staff of 10 employees, and a client base of of nearly 40. Aside from managing day to day operations, Ford directs client paid search strategy and search engine optimization site audits. Netvantage has a wide variety of clients across many sectors, including project work with General Motors, DTE Energy, Hyundai North America, Neogen, Michigan State University and the University of California Berkeley. Ford is on the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Executive Board of Directors, and also sits on the Capital Area IT Council Executive Committee.
Our Directors:
Jerod Karam received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2000. He went on to get his MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
After receiving his MBA, Jerod worked in the International Management Rotation group at Daimler Chrysler where he completed projects in brand management, sales operations, and new vehicle marketing. Most recently, Jerod was the Director of Operations at a prominent creative agency in Lansing.
In his role of Director of Online Marketing for Netvantage Marketing, Jerod touches all aspects of client projects from initial meetings to managing pay-per-click campaigns to generating the next huge idea in organic search optimization. With over 14 years of working experience in Information Technology companies and creative agencies, Jerod brings the right balance of data, research skills, and creativity to client campaigns.
Mallory Woodrow graduated from Albion College where she studied Economics and Management and English and was a member of the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Professional Management. She also participated in and then later helped instruct the Google Online Marketing Challenge.
After graduation, Mallory took on the role of VP, Marketing at GiftZip.com where she built a robust social media following, handled blogger and media outreach, and worked with retailers such as Meijer, MooseJaw, and Fandango on exclusive promotions.
Mallory is member of the Search Engine Optimization team, but more specifically specializes in social media strategy and outreach. In her role of Director of Social Media, she develops social media strategies based on clients’ needs, authors content and press materials, and establishes relationships with key players in the Blogosphere and social media realm. In her spare time, she is a blogger and a contributing writer for Entrepreneur Magazine.
Online Marketing Specialists:
Mary Beth Revard graduated from Albion College with her degree in Communication Studies, and then went on to receive her Masters in Public Relations from Michigan State University's College of Communication Arts & Sciences.
Mary Beth previously worked at Ingenex Digital Marketing where she touched all aspects of online marketing. She has extensive experience within the social media realm as well as with traditional and digital PR. At Netvantage, Mary Beth is a member of the Search Engine Optimization Team where she focuses on clients' social media campaigns, assists in SEO and outreach, and acts as a public relations representative.
Michael Hall graduated Cum Laude from Albion College where he majored in Economics and Management. At Albion, he was a member of the Gerstacker Institute for Professional Management and held several leadership positions in different professional organizations. Additionally, he participated in the 2011 Google Online Marketing Challenge. At Netvantage, Michael assists in online marketing campaigns and PPC management.
